Multimedia Major
Adibah Azri Zulkifli
Each student taking this module was able to explore different aspects of multimedia art. Those who chose digital publication as their media were required to do a full magazine of their chosen content. From photography to layout design and even the animation of various features, everything was created from scratch. On the other hand, those who delved into animation learnt how to animate using various software such as Adobe Flash, Photoshop and After Effects in order to put together a complete 5-minute animated film.

MOTION GRAPHICS ANIMATION
Samantha Lee

Possessing a long-standing interest in literature and the written word, Samantha wanted to create her own adaptation of a literary classic. A tribute to William Shakespeare and his most famous work, this motion-graphic animation is an abridged and simplified version of Romeo and Juliet. Working with sketchy, two-dimensional drawings in a three-dimensional space allowed the artist to create a sense of realistic depth in hopes of bringing the story to life. Accompanied by exquisite Renaissance music and a mellow voice narrating the story, the entire animation is set in a monochromatic colour scheme that aims to convey the timelessness of this romantic tragedy.
