Having previously charmed the crowd with her voice and acting skills, Adibah’s passion for the performing arts is integral to her art making. The emotion that reveals through, for instance, the different and finest tunes of the guitar, may evoke the same emotions as in her artworks. The portrayal of emotions as a language in performing arts is key and influential to her exploring this language in her artwork.

 

To her, Art is beyond a brush and a canvas. Art is a channel where one can be true to oneself and therefore expresses oneself through it. For instance, she finds the eyes in portraitures particularly interesting, for they are the most revealing and are the windows to one’s true self.
